ITC’s Bingo touches Rs 2,500cr mark and Aashirvaad touches Rs 4,500cr mark…

Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) Limited owned Bingo! And Aashirvaad has crossed the annual turnover of 2500 crore and 4500 crore respectively. Both the companies had turned out to be the ITC’s two fastest growing food brands. Bingo! has more than doubled its annual turnover while Aashirvaad crossed the mark of 4500 crores annually. The FMGC-to-tobacco-to-hotel giant has witnessed a total turnover of 9670 crores from foods business.

According to ITC company sources, the total consumer spend across its 25 brands is now over 18,000 crores, which was 14,000 crores two years back, which has leads to witnessing over the growth of 25%.

ITC has stated their annual report, “Classmate is over 1400 crores; YiPPeh! is over 1100 crores and Mangaldeep, Vivel and Candyman had crossed 500 crores. The world-class Indian brands support the competitiveness of domestic value chains of which they are apart, ensuring creation and retention of value within the country.

Company’s FMCG brands have achieved impressive market standing in a relatively short period of time.”
Company has claimed that the Bingo! is no. 1 in bridges segment of snack foods and overall it is on no. 2, Aashirvaad is no. 1 in branded flour (atta) business, Classmate is no. 1 in notebooks, Sunfeast is no. 1 in cream biscuits segment, YiPPeh! is no. 2 in noodles, Engage is no. 2 in deodorants segment while it is on no. 1 in women segment and Mangaldeep is no. 2 agarbattis (scent sticks) and no. 1 in dhoop segment.
