Gin & Thursdays at The Boston Butt

For all the Gin lovers out there, we have something special in store for you. The Boston Butt has started with their Gin & Thursdays, a weekly property that celebrates the versatile spirit – Gin.

On offer are a covey of creative cocktails such as King Louie -tropical cocktail which uses ingredients like monkey 47 gin, banana & tropical fruit flavoured dutch liqueur ‘Pisang ambon’ and is inspired by King Louie, the crafty and larger than life overlord of the “Bandar-Log” monkeys in “The Jungle Book, Mordor – Fiery, intense, and worth the quest cocktail inspired by Mordor, the scorching volcanic realm of arch-villain Sauron in “Lord of the Rings” and made of Beefeater gin, smoked maple-Sichuan peppercorn Gomme, malic acid. If you like Zingy cocktails then we suggest you go for Limon Collins, a heady concoction of langley’s old tom gin, house limoncello, and seltzer.

For the Gin explorers who like experimenting with different tonics, we have our Gin catalyst tray which offers 4 gins at 15ml each, Monkey 47, Beefeater, Langley’s Old Tom, Stranger & Sons, served with catalysts to help you explore your own concoctions with 4 quinine free house-crafted tonics, fresh fruits, botanicals, herbs, & spices.

You can wash it all down with our in-house smokies, larder boards and bar snacks such as G & T batter-fried clams with Lemon Caper Aioli, Smoked, Pulled Chicken & Mayo sandwich, Gouda and Juniper Berry jam Texas toast, G&T marinated Shrooms with Dil & Pickled Aioli, Pork Andouille dog, Nachos-Mezze and many more.
