ITDC welcomes the World Champion PV Sindhu for bringing glory to India

3 September 2019, New Delhi: PV Sindhu has added another feather to her cap after becoming the first Indian to win a WorldChampionships gold medal at Basel , outclassing former champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan 21-7, 21-7 in a one-sided final.

Two-time silver-medallist arrived at The Ashok Hotel (flagship of ITDC) in New Delhi after her historic World Championships triumph.

We congratulate her for creating history by becoming 1st Indian ever to win at the World Badminton Championship. We also welcome her to the Delhi’s iconic Ashok Hotel at the prime location in the heart of the Indian Capital.
