The themed restaurant’s tryst with Kolkata has turned out to be a charming affair. The city of connoisseurs and bon vivants lapped up the sophisticated overtones of this classic restaurant chain. Hard Rock Cafe’s policy of giving back to the community has won many a heart, and its latest initiative reveals the percipient and broad-minded nature of the renowned global restaurant chain.

“Love All Serve All.” The City of Joy’s outlet proudly parades this message on the wall near the entrance. Love knows no bounds! Its firm belief in inclusivity and the endless possibilities of love has manifested in two novel items in its menu that will be available on the 13th, 14th, and 15th of February. The Rainbow Cake and All American Daiquiri will celebrate love in all forms and kinds. There’s more to it. Ten percent of proceeds from such sales will go to the community outreach program belonging to the LGBTQ, the Kolkata Pride.

• All American Daiquiri This cocktail has red, blue, and white layers that have an amalgamation of white rum and Blue Curaçao, topped with a variety of additional sweet ingredients like grenadine and cream of coconut, topped with whipped cream and cherry.

• Rainbow Cake This multi-coloured marvel of moist sponge layers and the lightly whipped white frosting is no illusion. The exquisite layers of moist, colourful sponge are sandwiched with a lightly whipped icing. This vibrant, six-tiered rainbow creation will leave you yearning for more.
