Chef Madhusudan Singh, Executive Chef, the latest addition to Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Karjat

Chef Madhusudan Singh has been appointed as the new Executive Chef at Radisson Blu Resort& Spa, Karjat. With an illustrious career of over 20 years, he brings with him vast knowledge and understanding of the hospitality industry.

download (13)After graduating from the Institute of Hotel Management ShimlaChef Madhusudan started his culinary journey with the ITC group of hotels back in 1997 in Jaipur. During his tenure of 10+ years with the ITC group he specialized in Continental & International Cuisines and also moved across various departments of the kitchen thereby becoming proficient with his culinary skills. While at the ITC group, he worked in different parts of India which enhanced his culinary experience in the hospitality space owing to the various diverse cultures & palettes. After his stint with the ITC group, he moved onto work with a number of Indian & International Luxury properties like Le Meridian, Sheraton and Keys Hotel before joining Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Karjat. Through his journey, he has explored various cuisines across the globe enhancing his culinary repertoire, dwelling in search of the right ingredients and learning the rustic nuances of mastering a dish.

Chef Madhusudan has worked with the likes of Chef Imtiaz Qureshi (Senior Master Chef ITC & Padma Shree awardee) & Master Chef Nisar Waris (President of the Indian Federation of Culinary Association). A veteran in the culinary space – he possesses the works, bringing to the table a variety of delectable cuisines namely Continental, Indian, Oriental & Mediterranean cuisine. His last role was at the Sheraton as Executive Chef where he utilized his expertise in Mediterranean cuisine to the fullest amongst other roles that he undertook at the property.

With his vast experience and deep understanding of an insatiable demand for a sumptuous fare, he has gained expertise in catering to large banquets and also spearheaded operations across bars, lounges and fine dining restaurants making his culinary journey remarkable.

His passion, zeal and dedication towards food started at the tender age of 13 where he would help his mother with cooking for a family of 8 which was always appreciated and encouraged. Over the years, he was inspired to take up a career in hospitality & culinary thereby helping him develop into a versatile personality accepting various roles. Chef Madhusudan firmly believes that ingredients are the key elements of his food philosophy and ascertains the usage of freshest, seasonal and local produce strictly sourced for their quality and provenance.

Apart from being extremely enthusiastic about culinary, he is also very passionate about hiking and playing cricket.
