In 1977, AccorHotels arrived for the 1rst time in South America with a hotel of the brand in the same city: the Novotel São Paulo Morumbi. 30 minutes from it, the Novotel São Paulo Berrini has just been inaugurated in one of the city’s main business districts.

For business and leisure stays, it now welcomes you in its 210 modern apartments. And there will be room for everyone because the hotel offers 5 categories of apartments: superior with double bed and sofa bed, twin beds, an executive with Queen Size bed…

The goal: 500 hotels in the region by 2020

AccorHotels has made South America its 3rd biggest market. The Group is now present in 8 countries in the region: Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. AccorHotels opened 52 hotels in South America in 2017. Today the Group has more than 330 hotels and 52,000 rooms with 289 hotels in Brazil (45,000 rooms), in addition to 175 hotels in the pipeline in the region.

Novotel does not stop there since the brand plans to open a new address soon: the Novotel Itu Golf & Resort (Brazil)! In Chile, 2 new hotels will also join our ranks during the year, Novotel Santiago and Novotel Viña del Mar. To be continued…
