New Delhi, October 15, 2019: To continue celebrating and bringing to life the 401 Reasons to fall in love with Delhi, Andaz Delhi, a luxury lifestyle hotel by Hyatt, is all set to bring in the festival of lights – Diwali (Reason no. 262) with its thoughtfully curated eco-friendly artisanal hampers, inspiring guests to ‘Eat Mindful’.

This Diwali, Andaz Delhi has partnered with Gulmeher – an NGO which strives towards creating alternative livelihood opportunities for women waste pickers by means of creating eco-friendly products. The NGO is committed to the green agenda and believes that creating beautiful products can go hand in hand with environmental and social development. These festive hamper boxes are handcrafted using discarded flower petals, to help guests make their own eco-friendly hampers.

Guests can choose from an array of specially curated artisanal hampers comprising traditional homemade sweets and gourmet retail products to pamper their loved ones. Packed with exquisite flavours and goodness of artisanal chocolates, home-made preserves, organic spices and healthy snacks along with many other elements sourced from the hotel’s artisan partners –  Umang, Himalayan Haat, C-Green, Artisan Palate and Zingzest to name a few, these festive hampers are available from INR 1000 onwards.

This season, Andaz Delhi has also introduced a special Chef Crafted Diwali Hamper, containing sugar free Indian sweets made with grains, dry fruits and jaggery. Exclusively designed by the Chefs these “Eat Mindful” hampers include sumptuous festive delicacies such as Gulab gulkand laddoo, badam launj, freeze dried jamun, white roasted nuts burfi. The hamper also includes frozen dried fruits such as Alphonso Mango, Jamun, Chikoo and Pineapple, amongst many others.
