Can you tell us more about your start in baking, whether that’s in early childhood or when you were older?

Poornima Bhat:- Qualified professionally as a BNYS Doctor (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) with PG Diploma in Traditional Acupuncture and PG Diploma in Clinical Research. Art has always been in the family, helping my mom in her pot paintings or doll making, rangolis or jute artistry… I developed a niche for different kinds of paintings like Charcoal painting and glass painting during my teens. After marriage, I moved to Mumbai from Bangalore and due to family constraints of in-laws ill health I had to discontinue my practice. That stillness in life bought a vacuum in me and that when my husband suggested I try my hands in Baking. And 8 years back was when I thought of baking as a stress buster, little did I know it will become my biggest support and my identity.
