About Tarqeeb:

An instinctive approach to multiple mediums defines digital artist and music producer Tarqeeb’s philosophy. Dedicated to building and showcasing an internationally relevant Indian sound minus the cliches he’s using every avenue available to him to point larger audiences in a direction he hopes will be part of our future. These include tightly-tailored DJ sets —think everything from deep meditative dubstep/jungle to Indian electronica—hosting a monthly radio show Juggernaut for boxout.fm and his role in DASTA, a six-person artist collective that is bent on inspiring DIY approaches to growth and empowerment through the arts.

His rising acclaim has only been further solidified by a large-scale appreciation for his unusual, sometimes-surreal digital art. Despite humble beginnings within the medium two years ago, he has since gone on to conceptualise and create poster, album and logo art for local artists like Oceanside, Nanok, Paraphilias, Profound, Dasta, Dualist Inquiry and Sandunes, as well as international labels like System Music (UK) & Studio Rockers(UK). In many ways, Tarqeeb remains an individual’s experiment to link art, music and learning together to form its own microcosm.

About OX7GEN:

Hailing from the shores of Bombay city, OX7GEN is drummer Aditya Ashok’s alter ego.

Ashok’s love for Drum & Bass is no secret, but he brings a myriad of influences to OX7GEN’s sound. Being a producer-DJ and a live drummer adds layers of versatility, leveling to a one of a kind dance floor experience.

7 years of extensive touring & several independent releases later, OX7GEN has become synonymous with drum & bass in the country, bringing his brand of melodic, ethereal and cutting-edge electronica to every major festival in the subcontinent; right from the beaches of Goa’s Sunburn & Supersonic festivals, to the hills of north India’s Escape Festival as well as closing the Bacardi NH7 Weekender’s Electronic stage for 3 years in a row, BASS Camp festival and many more. Over the year’s he has supported drum & bass heavyweights such as London Elektricity, Netsky, Dub Phizix, Alix Perez, Royalston, KOAN Sound, Concord Dawn & Nymfo.

With releases on Med School Music (UK), Noosphere (IND) and a few more aces up his sleeve, 2018 is shaping up to be a pivotal year in OX7GEN’s journey.
