Dive into authentic Sri Lankan cuisine at Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi

Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi has planned an exclusive eight-day Sri Lankan cuisine pop-up at the multi-international cuisine restaurant, Tamra, from 16 to 23 February, 2020.

New Delhi, 19 February 2020  In the spirit of sharing traditions, Shangri-La Hotels is bringing the world of Sri Lankan flavours for the food lovers of Delhi. Chef Kalpa Perera and Chef Upul Delgahawattage from Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo will be at Shangri-La’s – Eros Hotel, New Delhi to delight guests with a carefully crafted menu of tempting Sri Lankan cuisine.  Guests are invited to enjoy spice-punched Sri Lankan delicacies such as Kukul Mas Curry, Fish Ambul Thiyal, Parippu, Crab Meat Rice, Fish Mustard Curry, Hoppers and many more mouth-watering dishes during the pop-up at Tamra from 16 to 23 February 2020.

Having worked in different regions of Sri Lanka, Chef Kalpa and Chef Upul would bring to the dining tables a host of authentic dishes from Sri Lankan cuisine, transfusing age-old recipes that have been passed down through generations with modern twists and share the complete experience of evolving Sri Lanka.  Infused with the traditional spices from the island nation, the rich ingredients stirred with a myriad of mixed regional and colonial influences, the culinary experts from the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo would be plating up a mosaic of flavourful dishes, which would be a treat to eyes, heart, belly and soul. Having an ocean of experience in serving international clientele from their tenure in Dubai, Seychelles and Mauritius, the chefs are set to amaze the diners at Tamra, Shangri La during the eight day cruise of Sri Lankan Cuisine.
