Feliz Navidad: Uno Más Brings Spanish Christmas Celebrations To Mumbai

Christmas isn’t just about exchanging gifts with family and friends. It’s also a convivial time to get together for annual cultural celebrations to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ in distinct styles by varied ethnicities.

For the holiday season, Uno Más is organizing celebrations in grandeur by unveiling their exceptional FELICES FIESTAS (Happy Holidays) Specials menus which will boast several new Spanish flavours starting 21st December 2019, running through 5th January of the New Year.

Indulge in the fineness of foods like Paella Trails (Colombo) (Bomba Rice seasoned with flavoured coconut milk and Thuna Paha), Arroz Negro (Squid Ink Paella), Pulpo and desserts by Anurita Ghoshal such as Tarta De Queso (Baked Cheesecake), Torrijas– (Brioche Bread with Vanilla Ice Cream) and Chouquette. For those who like their cocktails festive, the menu includes the likes of Piña Queso, White Christmas and Spanish Mule.

Inspired by Spanish Colonies from across the globe, Uno Más has also taken up cultural rituals for you to acquaint with, like drinking from the Porron, a Spanish wine pitcher, which is a must-try.

To add more joy to the festivities, Uno Más has an exciting lineup of parties for Christmas and to bring in the New Year. On the 24th is their Christmas Eve Party, ‘LA NOCHE BUENA’ 10 pm onwards where you can join in on a Live Latin Dance special performance and jive with Valentino Victoria and  Genevieve Luicien. Christmas Day on 25th December hosts the ‘FELIZ NAVIDAD’ (Merry Christmas) lunch 12 pm onwards, with popular jazz & RnB singer Shreya Bhattacharya, alongside Avishek Dey on strings and Sambit Deshmukhya on keys; serenading you with covers of your current favourite tunes and popular Christmas carols.

For the final day of 2019, Uno Más has a New Years’ Eve Party ‘LA NOCHE VIEJA’(New Year’s Eve) on 31st 2019 10 pm onwards with the Spanish tradition of eating 12 Grapes to welcome the New Year with good luck and prosperity and dance to the beats of DJ Rhyn Boats and be entertained by the ultimate performance of Raquel Sanchez Toston. She excels in captivating dance art forms like Belly dance, Flamenco, and Carnival performances. In the build-up to this night; Uno Más is also hosting the second edition of the El Gordo aka ‘The Fat One’. In namesake of the biggest lottery in the world which takes place in Spain with people winning up to 2 billion Euros, the Spanish eatery will be upping the winnings this year by hosting a contest for a lucky winner and their plus one to join in the Spanish New Year’s revelry with a home pick-up and the drop-off in luxury, a complimentary bottle of Champagne to ring in the New Year in addition to a table spend of INR 10, 000/-, as well as a gift, hamper to take away!
