Distributing 5000 Eco-friendly Seed Ganesha Prosperity Box

Hyderabad: August 2020: Gemini Edibles and Fats India Pvt Ltd (GEF India), the marketers and refiners of Freedom Healthy Cooking Oils as a part of their CSR initiative are distributing nearly 5000 Seed eco- Ganesha prosperity box to the channel partners & apartment complexes like Rainbow Vista, Hill County, Malaysian Township, Swan lake, Aparna Sarovar, My Home Jewel, etc, in the city to celebrate Vinayaka Chaturthi with Eco-friendly Seed Ganesha Idol. 

The culture of installing an idol of Lord Ganesha is a tradition and has been going on for years together. The idols are normally made of Clay or Plaster of Paris and also painted with commercial paints to give it a real to life look and charm. The problem is the materials and the finishing products going towards the preparation of the idol are toxic and also not good for nature may it be soil or the water bodies. To keep the impact of Ganesh festival on nature minimum, people have started having clay and soluble Ganesh idols with manure and plant-able seeds. Once immersed in the pot, the Ganesh idol grows into a plant, with the seeds available in the idol.
