Giving For Good – A Traffic Awareness Initiative by Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre

Pune, 19 September 2019: Crowne Plaza Pune City Centre organized a Traffic Awareness Drive on ‘safety’ recently with the help of local police officers at Mangaldas Road on Wednesday.

The associates were seen reaching out to by-passers and educating them on the importance of road safety.  They stood at the busy traffic island holding placards on road safety, to catch the attention of motorists and other road users. The placards read: ‘Don’t drink and drive’, ‘wear a helmet, reach your destination safely’, ‘adhere to traffic rules, prevent accidents’, ‘ Prepare and prevent’ and against talking on the mobile phone while driving.

As a part of IHG – Giving For Good month, the Traffic Awareness Drive carried out by the hotel associates was an initiative to create awareness for a good cause and hoping to make a positive local change.
