Hyatt Hotels appoint Mausam Bhattacharjee as Area Director of Sales- South India

Kochi, 29 January 2020: Mausam Bhattacharjee has been promoted as Area Director of Sales – South India. He has been with the Hyatt since 2013 and was the Director of Sales & Marketing of the Park Hyatt Hyderabad and later the Director of Sales & Marketing at Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty and Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre. He was a part of the team which launched the largest luxury convention space in South India in April 2018 and the same is already a big driver for international conventions, incentives and wedding business to Kerala.

He has a formal hospitality management background with experience of over two decades in upscale and luxury hotel chains with hands-on experience in account management, digital marketing, distribution, pre-opening and ramp-ups in companies like Sarovar hotels, The Leela, Shangri-La and now Hyatt.

Very excited about his new role, Mausam says “I have been entrusted with a big responsibility to provide functional direction to hotel sales and marketing teams within my area which now has 11 operating hotels and 3 more in the immediate pipeline opening in 2020.
