ibis Kolkata Rajarhat Appoints Vaibhav Gupta as the Hotel Manager

Vaibhav comes with an experience of over 15 years in hospitality sector

Kolkata, 13th March 2020: Vaibhav Gupta, a graduate from Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal, has been recently appointed as the Hotel Manager of ibis Kolkata Rajarhat. His journey with Accor started in 2015 as a Front Office Manager at ibis New Delhi Aerocity. Since then, he has successfully spearheaded ibis Styles Goa and ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road in various managerial roles.

Vaibhav began his career with Oberoi Hotel & Resorts as Front Office Assistant and for over a decade worked with the likes of Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, Radisson Blu, Hilton Hotels and grew up the ranks as Front Office Manager.

On taking up this new role, Vaibhav Gupta, Hotel Manager, ibis Kolkata Rajarhat, said, “I feel delighted to be a part of the Accor family. I have had a chance to spearhead various roles at ibis hotels across cities in the last 5 years. I look forward to making a difference and growing with intent towards an exciting future for ibis in Kolkata.”

A seasoned professional, Vaibhav has expertise in managing operations. He is also passionate about creating personalized guest experiences and with this vision, he launched the MyRooms concept at both ibis New Delhi Aerocity and ibis Styles Goa.

In his spare time, Vaibhav enjoys travelling. He is passionate about basketball and loves spending time with family when not at work.
