IHCL Announces The Signing Of Sixth Hotel In Ahmedabad, Gujarat

MUMBAI, JULY 5, 2022: Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, today announced the signing of a Ginger hotel in Ahmedabad. Located in the heart of the city, the existing hotel will be upgraded to the Ginger brand post renovation. This hotel is an operating lease with Himalaya Elanza Private Limited.

The signing of this Ginger hotel is in line with IHCL’s vision of strengthening our presence in key domestic markets. With this, IHCL will now have six hotels across brands in the city. The hotel, which is a part of a mixed-use development, is strategically located at RTO Circle, an important residential and business locality in Ahmedabad. The hotel, which overlooks the cityscape, will have over 110 rooms. It will also feature an all-day diner and fitness centre, making it an ideal location for business travellers. The hotel is slated to open in 2022.

Located on the banks of the Sabarmati River, Ahmedabad is the financial capital of Gujarat. In addition to being the state’s commercial centre, the city is also known for its rich heritage and history.  

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 16 hotels across brands in Gujarat including three under development.
