Indore Marriott Hotel celebrates its 2nd annual Grape Stomping & Longest Brunch in Madhya Pradesh

February 2019: As the city witnesses more colder days, Indore Marriott Hotel geared to uplift the spirits of Indoreans by offering an age-old traditional winemaking experience On Sunday, 10th February 2019, Indore Marriott Hotel organized the Jacob’s Creek “Longest Our Table” that was the largest brunch held in Madhya Pradesh with Alexandre Barre, Wine Ambassador, Jacob’s Creek.

The event was mainly focused on the classic tradition of preparing wine through the process of ‘Pigeage’ that means ‘punch down’. This is a necessary aspect of the traditional winemaking process where the guests were excited for experiencing the process of vinification by stomping and crushing grapes with their bare feet in an open fermentation barrel to release the grape’s juice. The guests were thrilled to experience the practice of vinification along with various fine wines offered under the Jacob’s Creek brand.

The event was high on energy as guests were having special moments with their family and friends, along with live band performance and world-class four-course set menu and live dessert art.

While explaining the tradition of wine and meal pairings, Wine Ambassador for Jacob’s Creek Alexandre Barre said, “The Jacob’s Creek “Our Table” brunch was a great feast with ‘live food counters’ and wonderful musical atmosphere. The guests enjoyed the special veg and non-veg buffet along with some classic collection of wine. We are looking forward to hosting more such interesting events for the Indian audience.”
