Inter hotel Sports tournaments organized by Accor hotels in Chennai

Accor has a wide presence in the city of Chennai with seven hotels under three brands, namely: Novotel, Mercure and ibis. Teams from various hotels got together to organise a sports tournaments in order to enhance teamwork and camaraderie within the teams, as well as focus on wellbeing – physical and mental.

The first of the series was a badminton tournament where each hotel competed in different categories such as singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Novotel ibis Chennai and ibis Chennai City Center won the coveted trophies in their respective leagues.

Recently, volleyball matches were conducted with a team of six members representing each hotel. The team displayed great enthusiasm and skill with the finals resulting in ibis Chennai SIPCOT winning the title and Novotel Chennai SIPCOT clinching the runners-up title.

The team members plan their day and schedule to ensure time for practice and new tournaments are already in the works!
