Lords Hotels CSR initiative for the underprivileged

Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan, a vision of new India envisaged by the Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government of India’s CSR initiative aptly named as “Hunar Se Rozgar Tak” is taken seriously by Lords Institute of Management, by recognizing raw talent of underprivileged children in Surat and nurturing them with the skill development opportunity in the hospitality sector.

The process is simple, children of Municipal Schools from the neighboring villages are scouted for talent and the best are offered scholarship and enrolled in the free Certification Course models that specializes in every area of the hospitality industry; offering an excellent opportunity to the children from the economical weaker sections of the society to gain entry into the management of the hospitality industry.

A holistic approach has been conceptualized by the Lords Institute of Management, where students can learn and earn; and strive towards a promising career in hotel management. They are offered International courses in association with American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute, USA, Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC), DY Patil University, Open and Distance Learning. The children study in the Lords institute and work in the Lords Hotel to gain experience.
