Sofitel Mumbai BKC winner of Best Luxury Boutique Hotel at World Luxury Awards

The World Luxury Hotel Awards unveiled the best hotels around the globe in a spectacular awards ceremony recently. The awards are considered to be the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels offering international recognition as voted by guests, travelers and industry players alike. Sofitel Mumbai BKC won the ‘Best Luxury Boutique Hotel’ award in the Regional Category from a list of over 99 classifications, as announced in a gala celebration. Hosted by the Kulum Hotel St. Moritz in Switzerland, the awards are the highest accolade in the industry of hoteliers.

World Luxury Award evaluates a multitude of factors while making the ultimate decision. Over 300,000 international travelers vote every year during a 4-week period to select the winners. This year, over 1,00,000 voters brought the winners for the award night voicing their opinions on the deserving 1,000 entrants of these accolades. Apart from voting, the winners are determined by taking into consideration various aspects including brand, location, overall guest satisfaction from online reviews, services and facilities, design and menu offerings.

The awards are bestowed to luxury properties that are proficient within their service delivery areas on a country, regional, continent or global basis, be it the most luxurious island or forest resort, the best wedding destination or the ultimate ski hotel.
