Sri-Lanka’s terror-hit Shangri-La Hotel will open on 19th June…

The Shangri-La Hotel of Sri Lanka, which was severely damaged in deadly terror attacks which had killed more than 250 people who were celebrating the holy festival Easter on 21st April 2019, is all set to reopen on this Wednesday i.e. 19th June 2019.
“From Wednesday 12 June, 6 pm onwards (local time), popular dining establishments including Sapphyr Lounge, Capital Bar and Grill and Kaema Sutra will reopen for service. Guests will be able to enjoy room stays and Chi, the Spa from Saturday 15 June onwards.” in a statement, the Shangri-La Group said.

Colombo page mentioned the statement in which the Shangri-La Group had shown gratefulness to the local authorities and to the global community too for their support and messages of commendations regarding the terror attack and it also reported that “The group remains deeply appreciative of the selfless service and courageous spirit demonstrated by the colleagues of Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo and the Sri Lankan community in the face of such adversity.”
