In a fun initiative that will see some of the best women bartenders mix up some strange cocktails, Stranger & Sons will celebrate Women’s Week on the 6th & 8th of March, 2020. Honoring the strange but mysterious creature’s persona this women’s week, the Stranger & Son’s family will celebrate these stupendous women doing what they do best. 

Welcoming exceptional talent that will ensure your romance with gin never ends, Sarita Sharma from JW Marriott Sahar, Saimai from A Bar at JW Marriott Bangkok, June Baek from Madam Fan at JW Marriott Singapore, Feruzan Bilimoria who is the Brand Ambassador- Stranger & Sons Gin, Cindy Lalramngaihzuali from Hoots Delhi and Celia Bugallo from Kwant London will use inherently Indian gin Stranger & Sons to deliver tasteful cocktails with an Indian soul. These women all have an applaudable story to share and commendable bartending skills that make it an art to be appreciated.

Young, dynamic and an extremely talented woman, Sarita Sharma is the Bar Manager at JW Marriott, Mumbai Sahar. With an experience of over 9 years, she brings to the table her expertise in new age mixology and is responsible for running all bar operations, curation of new innovative cocktails as well as development and maintenance of beverage standards at various outlets within the hotel. Attentive and great at what she does, she can often be seen personally attending to her repeat clients as she is famed for delivering great customer experiences. One of the only women bar professionals at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar , she is super enthusiastic and passionate about her craft. Her warmth and flair for bartending has won the hearts of many guests. She is approachable, customer friendly and has also lent her expertise by conducting periodical training and beverage workshops with bartenders and associates within the hotel. Credited with the curation of several bespoke wine & champagne evenings at the JW Lounge and Romano’s, Sarita is known to go the extra mile to understand guest preferences and customize drinks on request. A popular mixologist at ABar Rooftop at JW Marriott Bangkok, Saimai Nantarat is a Thai national with a distinguished career. Having worked at some of Bangkok’s most reputed restaurants and bars, from the Peek-a-Boo, the sister establishment to the highly-rated Bangkok gastro pub, Hyde & Seek, to the chic American restaurant, the Bunker Sathorn and Highball bar, she is a genius behind the bar. With multiple drink recipes in mind, she finds it an absolute delight to share her know-how with guests along with extensive knowledge, creativity and passion at the ABar Rooftop. She has also been awarded the winner of the Gin Jubilee 2017, The winner OF Nusa Cana 2018 and the 1st runner up Rock Rose 2019 besides being in the 16 final of World class 2016.

Feruzan Bilimoria is a passionate bar maestro whose curiosity towards alcohol makes her constantly evolve and endeavour to offer nothing but the best. Bartending was never her first choice but she eventually discovered her passion for creations that impress. She started her career with freelancing, then switched to a full time job in Romano’s JW Marriott, post that she got into a nightclub bar and now she’s working as the Brand Ambassador of an Indian Gin brand, Stranger & Sons. Also, she is conducting and researching on a project dealing with the mental health of Bartenders. She hopes to publish it by next year.

Born and raised in Córdoba, southern Spain, Celia Bugallo is a popular name at one of the World’s 50 Best Bars- Kwãnt bar in London. Working for and under the direction of Erik Lorincz, Celia continues to excel behind the bar. Inclined towards bartending from a young age, Celia would help her father at his bar that served fresh juice and beers. After a few years of working as a bartender and server, she moved to Ibiza where she discovered her passion for mixing drinks. Wanting to learn more about the world of bars and cocktails, she settled in London – the hub of cocktail culture. Celia is the Art of Italicus world champion who enjoys the platform that the hospitality industry gives her. With a goal to create her own brand, to be shared and celebrated with the rest of the world, she also enjoys creating new flavors and meeting incredible personalities.
