The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) Signs A SeleQtions Hotel in Jaipur, Rajasthan


Mumbai, August 26, 2019: The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), South Asia’s largest hospitality company, today announced its eighth hotel in Jaipur with the signing of a new SeleQtions hotel through a management contract with Maker Chambers Private Limited. 

Commenting on the signing, Ms. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL said, “Jaipur is one of the key lodging markets in India and the city is expanding rapidly. This hotel in Jagatpura will help IHCL to capture demand in the upcoming suburbs and the Eastern part of the city. We are delighted to partner with Maker Chambers Private Limited for this hotel.”

The hotel is a Brownfield project strategically located close to the airport, the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) and the Sitapura Industrial Area. The hotel will comprise 116 well-furnished guest rooms, an all-day diner, a speciality restaurant, a lounge, a bar, recreation facilities and modern meeting spaces. It is slated to open in the last quarter of 2021.
