Vietjet commences the first ever-direct service linking Hanoi and the Paradise island of Bali

New Delhi, January 28, 2020: During the cheerful celebration of the Lunar New Year 2020, the new-age carrier Vietjet officially commences its newest direct route linking Hanoi and Bali Island in Indonesia, on the second date of the Lunar New Year holidays. This is Vietjet’s second route to the famous holiday destination of Indonesia, following the Ho Chi Minh City – Bali route operating since May 2019. It is also the first direct route connecting Vietnam’s capital city – Hanoi to Bali.

Vietjet currently operates three return flights from New Delhi to Hanoi and four return flights from New Delhi to Ho Chi Minh City per week. Indian travelers can now have new options to explore the Paradise Island with Vietjet’s flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bali.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairwoman of Vietjet’s Board of Directors Nguyen Thanh Ha, said, “Vietjet was founded with a pioneering mission to connect the sky. We are proud to be the first airline to operate direct flights between Hanoi and Bali. The new route operated from the second day of the Lunar New Year will meet the New Year’s travel demand of local and international travelers with less travel time and cost. Not will this connect the two most attractive cultural tourism destinations in Asia, the Hanoi – Bali route it will also further promote cooperation between the countries in ASEAN.”

The Hanoi – Bali route is operating daily return flights, which started on January 26, 2020. The flight departs from Hanoi at 10:00 and arrives in Bali at 16:25. The return flight takes off from Bali at 17:30 and lands in Hanoi at 21:55 (all in local times).
