Pune, August 20, 2019: It is the season where we prepare to let Lord Ganesha into our hearts and homes. He is known to be the Lord of new beginnings & of wisdom, and also as the remover of obstacles. To bring in the celebrations in full swing, Zeta at Hyatt Regency Pune, along with the Kala Kollective, bring to you a workshop on how you can create an environmental friendly idol of your own!

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp and fervour. There is great joy in making your own Lord Ganesha idol, and what’s better than making one that is eco-friendly!  The water pollution caused by the materials used to build the idols and the paint used on them, is hurting us more than helping us.

This workshop will guide you in creating a plantable idol. Not only will this reduce the way we pollute our rivers, lakes, streams and oceans but also give back to nature by sprouting into a tree. Isn’t that a perfect symbol of what Lord Ganesha stood for? Creating new beginnings?
